It is my pleasure to invite you to Marty Doogin Arts to watch The Retirement of Joe Corduroy. This is my first personal film in several years. It was funded by the Minnesota State Arts board and is my homage to the gritty, violent revenge opera’s of the 70’s and 80’s. Enjoy!

Yes Ladies and Gentleducks,
The guys at Marty Doogin Arts just recently posted the feature film Rough Tender in it’s entirety on their website.
I was director of photography on the film and it was by far one of the most fun exciting projects I have ever worked on. So make yourself a cocktail, light up a cigarette, and enjoy a film with quirky romance, a cussing grandma, peanut butter sandwiches and vampires that will rip your throat out and eat your eyeballs!

Hey everyone. So I have been a bit absent the last couple months, but fear not I am here to fill you in and deliver tasty images and news from my business.
First off, back in January I produced and directed an anti-smoking ad with a ballerina. I was fortunate enough to collaborate with the talented Broadway and film dance choreographer Allen Fields. Dancer Raina Gilliland lent her beauty, grace and extreme talent to the spot. The piece was photographed by Nick Junkersfeld on Epic and the FX were done by the guys back at MAKE, turning the beautiful dance into a smokey nightmare. Stay tuned for the final in the next month.

My Minnesota Arts Grant revenge film, “The Retirement of Joe Corduroy” test screened back in February to a healthy 100+ audience at the Parkway theater in South Minneapolis. I made the event a special double feature starting the night off with one of the films main inspirations, the original “Death Wish” with Charles Bronson. The screening went very well. I am currently submitting the film to different festivals. Once scored, the film will be posted on TwitchFilm

March was a busy month. I produced and directed a spot about Bullying Awareness at MAKE, shot a short film with Nick Junkersfeld with colleges Joe Dressel and Chris Cummings, and helped fellow filmmaker Jason Ho with a spot promoting Minnesota hip hop artist MaLLy’s, new album “The Last Great.” Stay tuned for all these finished pieces in the weeks to come! Until then, here are some sneak peeks!
